Google Site

• click settings

• click custom domains

• click start setup button

• click "use a domain from third party" as i already have a domain

• enter your domain name

• click on the option to verify your ownershipt - you will be transferred to google web master - click on search console 

• make sure you have the same google id for both google sites and google console

• click add property

• add domain name
